This is a easy one one to make. Prep time is about 10 mins. cook time is 15 mins. and it makes enough for 4 to 6 people.
Ingredients:
1 pound penne 3 cloves garlic, minced
1 whole onion, chopped finely 3 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup VODKA
1 14 oz. can tomato sauce 1 cup heavy cream
1 pinch of red pepper flakes 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
Cook pasta according to package. Saute the garlic and onions in butter and olive oil over medium heat until soft. Pour in the vodka, being careful if your stove has an open flame 9 remove pan from the heat and add). Cook and reduce for 2 to 3 minutes, then pour in the tomato sauce. Stir the mixture until it's thoroughly combined, then reduce the heat to low. Pour in the heavy cream. Stir to combine, then turn heat to lowest simmer possible. Sprinkle in re pepper flakes and add salt and pepper to taste. Finally stir in 1 tablespoons butter. Pour the drained pasta into the sauce and toss to combine. Sprinkle on Parmesan.
