I personally feel this is one of the best movies ever produced!

I loved Top Gun 1986. It was an incredible film and just re-watched before seeing Top Gun 2022. I LOVED the new one even more!! The cinematography, special effects, music, directing..it all came together perfectly. Every facet was real! The cast effortlessly came together, balanced each other's personalities, combined humor and drama flawlessly and grew as a team.

Some of you may not know Glen Powell is from Austin and we are so proud of his role in this outstanding film.

Thank you Tom Cruise for setting a new standard in movie making. There is a reason the movie theaters are packed to see your phenomenal picture. You made us laugh, cry, feel good all over and didn't insult our intelligence. Best picture ever!

FYI: Don't wait to see it at home....the experience on the big screen is worth the price of admission.

Good morning Dorie. My son was three when the original came out. Over the years, I have purchased many tapes for the VCR and discs for the DVD, not to mention various sizes of those jackets. My son can repeat every line by heart. He has seen the new movie three times already and agrees with you. Enjoy your day.

Hi Dorie- I cannot remember how many times I've seen Top Gun!!! Larry loves it because of the jets, of course! I did know that Glen Powell is from Austin and remember him from the movie Hidden Figures!!! I do think we'll see this in the theatres. So glad that you liked it.

I am an old fuddy-duddy that will sacrifice the big screen to avoid the frustration of a theater filled with people.

While not much of a Hollywood fan, I have not seen a movie in about 15 years. I will make the exception of seeing Top Gun and will do so in the privacy and quiet of my home.

Interestingly enough, I've been watching a lot of "oldie" movies lately. And, I seem to be enjoying them more than when I viewed them the first time. One movie I just finished via Netflix, was "Seven Years in Tibet" with Brad Pitt. It's based on the true story, involving history surrounding the Dalai Lama.
