I did some quick research and there is a reason. The person who holds the patent is Elizabeth Howell. In 1891 she filed the patent for a self waiting table. The name probably is a reference to many servants having the name Susan.

Elyse Berman, PA, The sliding made it really simple. You do need to know that when you pull it out, you have to slide the whole thing to the left. If not it could be a great hiding place for goodies.

Margaret Rome Baltimore 410-530-2400 - An organized kitchen with pull out shelves is so much more efficient and easier on the back and knees. People buy functionality that is proven to work and makes life easier. The last few houses that I sold, I pulled the shelves out and used them in my MLS photos and got lots of showings. This is a great blog post!
