Bring Your Dog to Work Day - June 24, 2022

June 24,  is bring your dog to work day.  

If you are like me, I regularly take Sadie with me to the office.  Sadie loves to go for car rides and she loves to make the rounds at the Coldwell Banker office in Ellicott City and say hello to everyone she meets. 

I have a food dish, water bowl, and treats in the bottom drawer of my desk along with a stock of bags for walking and picking up.  

Do you work in a pet-friendly office?  We even have a wall of pets with pictures of all our agent's furrends.

Good evening June,

I didn't know June 24th is take your dog to work. We are on the 6th floor and you need to take the elevator to our office. That is not a common practice in our building but I know of smaller offices in different locations where some so take their dogs to work. Its a little awkward if your meeting people at the office and then going out to show property.....what do you do with the dog?

Dorie Dillard Austin TX - I always ask my clients if it's okay for Sadie to come with, if it's not or if they are allergic I take her home and then go out to show houses.  Most of my clients are thrilled to have her along, she's quiet, well-behaved, and doesn't bark, bite or jump.

Good morning June. Must say, when Cosmo, my Yorkie, was with us I would never take him to work with me. He was well mannered in our home, but take him one step out of the door and he became a terror. Yet, we loved him for himself. Enjoy your day.
