Tina's home and that means we have two Art Majors in the house. What is Dad to do to keep Tina and Timmothy entertained? To start, an idea. A simple idea. An idea that started at the dollar store.
In the craft aisle of the store I saw some large wooden flower and butterfly cutouts. I thought this may be the solution I'd been looking for to the problem of flowers burning up in my West facing flower boxes on the house.
Which butterfly and two flowers did I paint?

Outside the flower box that is Dorie Dillard Austin TX 😄. I though I could "make them" do one and then I'd do thge rest BUT I forgot how much artists LOVE to create so they couldn't wait to do more until they were all gone. I think if I had ten apiece they would have gladly done them.
I was really pleased with everyone's efforts Brian England . Towards the bottom of the post where I show each basket individually I did the single butterfly and the flower on the far left under it. In the other basket the tulip on the left is also mine.
