Setbacks - How to move on and get back on track.

Setbacks are a fact of life.

Without a doubt, setbacks can have dramatic negative effects of all of us if we all allow them to.  Despite our best intentions and well-laid-plans, life doesn’t always go according to our hopes and expectations. We all experience setbacks, both small and large and sometimes we are overwhelmed with frustration.
Sometimes it  feels hopeless and stressful and then the self doubts start to creep in.  Always remember there is always hope, and it starts with our mindset and how we chose to view life’s inevitable setbacks.

The very first thing to do is to remember you are human. As much as you want to be perfect and always in control, you’re not; no one is. Think about the many, many successes in life already and know there’s more to come. Mishaps and mistakes happen and that's okay, they are all learning opportunities.

Everything in life is temporary. Losses, limitations, failings, and setbacks are all temporary.  Take time to reflect. What can you take away from these experiences and situations? Time heals all wounds so know the pain and the uncertainty will pass.

Find gratitude in the present moment. Keep your head up. Take a deep breath and be grateful for everything that’s led you to the present moment -- the experiences, the people, the events, the opportunities

“You have a choice you can either be a victim of your circumstance or become a master of your destiny”.

Be grateful for setbacks.

You can let them destroy you or strengthen you.

Your choice.

We all have set backs, but successful people shake it off, rebound rapidly, and get back on track.
