The local Santa Rosa, CA, newspaper "The Press Democrat" recently wrote an article saying that several real estate markets had been identified as least likely to encounter a real estate "bubble". College Station, TX and Houston, TX showed being undervalued by 24% and 16% respectively.

Be careful when evaluating real estate outside your own areas of knowledge. Be sure you are working with an experienced Realtor who has an established network in place to provide all the neccessary support required when investing out of your area.

It's the truth, when we talk about the differences in marketplaces. A good agent is able to zero in and help folks cut through the chaff.

So what is Santa Rosa? Over Valued?

Santa Rosa, CA by all the pundits say that the real estate market is balanced. However, I am personally starting to see a larger number of price reductions in the marketplace. However, many of those listings were overpriced to begin with. They listing were probably priced incorrectly by the large number of inexperience agents that have entered our market in previous 3 or 4 years, when the only experience to being a good listing agent was to show up.
