Do people read your Blog Posts? Absolutely...do they comment? Great question and the answer is "NO". Do they remember you? Absolutely. Do they reach out to you when the time is right? Absolutely!
Where am I going with this? Well about eleven years ago I wrote this blog post https://activerain.com/droplet/lNB
Well the other day I just received this email....
Dear Endre …..
Thank you for the wonderful dedication page you made for the monument….My Father designed the monument in 1969 to commemorate the Hungarian Revolution of 1956.
Last year a foreign government , the Hungarian consul painted over it ,,, destroying the marble quartz and altered the design.....
It is illegal to alter, deface a memorial, especially by a foreign government.
We have written to Parks and Rec, the Art Commission and no one has responded .
My father age 95 is very upset about this and your help would be greatly appreciated .
!
Many thanks:

I was heartbroken to read this email and I thought I would share with all. Now with that said. I was so amazed that I touched someone's life in a positive light and needless to say it reassured me that people read what we write. Interestingly it took eleven years and such a sad event for her to reach out to me. Now I hope everyone who reads this post will write to the powers to be what a tragedy this is. Hopefully they will step up and rectify this problem.
Now to give you a follow up this was a follow up email:
Here are two pictures that she sent me I will post as a Featured Post and some of my old photos.
Now put this in Real Estate Perspective, clearly buyers, sellers and what ever you write about people read it. When the time comes they will reach out for help and if it is Real Estate Related they will reach out to you as a trusted advisor.
On a side note she reached out to me for real estate advice about eight years ago and I had no idea that this post inspired her and we never talked about it. She was considering buying a vacant lot and at the same time she also considered selling her father's house. She did not buy the land and she did not sell her father's home. Never the less she contacted me then and now. So keep that in mind when you write your blog posts. People are reading and watching you.
Now if you would like to help her, feel free to reach out to the Los Angeles powers to be about this sad situation. Thank you for reading my posts.
