The baseball field isn't retractable Ed Silva but the football stadium where the Cardinals plays is, so I am certain that is what you were thinking of. It is pretty cool that the field grows outside, then they roll it into the stadium for football games.

The Cubs have a big following in the Phoenix area Leanne Smith so they are another team whose fans sometimes outnumber the Dbacks fans at home games for the Dbacks.

Hi Brian,
An air-conditioned facility is the only way I'd be able to enjoy a game in Phoenix! My SIL was a huge Diamondbacks fan when she lived in Sun City. I don't think she ever went to any games in person, though.

Hi Brian- The Astros used to play in the Astrodome but now have Minute Maid Field which does have a retractable roof! Astros lost the last two games but we'll come back. Got Mancini from Baltimore and he hit a homeroom his first hit!!! Not a fan at all of the Yankees.

The Astros are certainly a team that will contend for the World Series Kathy Streib and I don't think the Yankees are fans of the Dbacks since we took them down in one of the World Series, haha.
