It’s already been established that the real estate business is a people business. What needs to be stressed is the fact that the most important people are your "Bird Dogs." Our business is a referral business. However, there are those people who focus on finding business for you and sending it your way.
These are people who know people. A “Bird Dog” works for the master. The agent is always on that person’s “things to do list.” The ball is never dropped. The true “Bird Dog” feeds the agent.
Every agent who has one has been Blessed. Of course, an agent can have more than one, but one will certainly get you off the blocks initially.
A thank you can be shown in many ways. Special gifts for special people always work well. Every “Bird Dog” loves a treat when the “game” is delivered to the master.
These gifts could be presents on Birthdays, Christmas and any special holiday. It’s not tax deductible, but it’s been earned by the steady source.
Some of you may not approve of this, but let’s be real, this is how you grow your business.
