Dan & Divya and I first connected back in March when they were interviewing buyer's agents to guide them on their first home buying journey - a smart move by the way, the interviewing and the choosing me part! 😉
We spent time going over the process and the documents before hunting for the perfect home. They had done their homework, they knew what they wanted, which neighborhoods they would consider and - most importantly - what their financial comfort level was. Preapproval does not always equal comfort level!
We explored. We researched. We wrote a few offers but only on the ones that were a good fit, until we submitted a winning bid. We had found the one, we thought, until we didn't - but that is a story for another day.
After round one ended in disappointment, round two has culminated in one very Happy Closing Day, my favorite day of the week. I couldn't be more thrilled for my clients. Preparation and perseverance always pay off!
Beginning today, their new address is in Columbia's Village of Harper's Choice, just up the street from Howard County General Hospital, HCC, Columbia Town Center.. They'll come home to a darling front porch townhouse that also has a backyard for their furry family member Charlie, a home they are excited about and will, no doubt, fill with love, laughter, and long lasting memories.
I would be remiss if I didn't include a shout-out to their lender Cylda Hodo with First Home Mortgage and her assistant Sandra. Cylda has been on my short referral list for years and this transaction proved why once again. Thank you ladies for guiding our clients so expertly on the loan side. You rock!
