Problem spotters

I find it interesting that so many people today are always looking for the problems in life.  Everyone has problems, it's just what we do with them that determines our happiness.  Are we responding to them or learning how to handle them?  Be ready to anticipate them and treat them as opportunities to do something new and exciting to make them go away!!!  Think of some of the greatest accomplishments that have made in your life.  They normally follow the following 3 things; challenge, self doubt and commitment.  For example, getting married, first you agonize over that first date, what to wear, what to say.  then the self doubt kicks in, will they like me?  am I picking the right movie or restaurant to take this person to?  then, commitment, you get to know each other more and more everyday and maybe you don't like everything about that person but you decide that you want to spend the rest of your life with them.  commit to marriage and even when things aren't going the right way, you still think of that commitment you made and recommit yourself.  Take some time to think about what your greatest accomplishments and see if they were preceaded by challenge, self doubt and commitment.  So when those problem arise, be a bouncer, bounce back, stand up and get on with life!!

I have noticed a lot of that lately and I think it is a defensive posture that some people adopt to establish their "bona fides".  It seems like an expert is supposed to find fault.
