I have been posting my blog posts by writing directly into the entry form on AR.  I know it is said to not copy and paste from Word, so I have tried not to.

Does anyone know enough about HTML to help me figure out how to change the font, especially the size and color?  I would love to learn how to also change the actual font, but color and size would be a great start.  My posts just look boring when it is all the same color and size.  Any suggestions would be great.

Also, what does everyone use to write their posts?  Are you posting through Word, writing directly into the AR entry form, or are you using another company?

Jennifer,

There are several good instructional blog posts on this. It requires a little knowledge about HTML coding, but that is just a skill that needs to be developed if you want to blog.

Here is a good start.

But you can also enter "font size and color" into the AR search engine and find many more posts.

About the second question, I think everyone would recommend writing in word first and then pasting into AR. I think most people type directly into AR.

the problem with typing directly into AR is the ease with which you can lose your work. If you write directly into AR, I recommend that you save draft copies very frequently. Especially if you are doing a lot editing work.

Some people have been using NVu & then there is an AR Editor that someone created. I am having problems with pictures in NVu myself.  If you figure it out please let ME know.  Tutorial above gives a pretty good overview also.
