USDA home loans aren’t just for buying farms or rural properties.  In Maryland, there are whole areas like the eastern shore (minus Salisbury and Ocean City) that qualify for USDA loans.  

Areas like New Market, Mount Airy, Point of Rocks, Damascus, Chesapeake Beach, LaPlata, Leonardtown, Hollywood, Westminster, and Taneytown just to name a few are eligible areas for this loan product.  There are also pockets of Anne Arundel County and Baltimore County that qualify for USDA loans too.

USDA loans are 100% loan to value and allow a homebuyer to purchase a home for no downpayment.
