Motivational Monday…It’s On You.
It’s interesting how different siblings can be. One of my great-nephews already knows where he wants to go to college and what he wants to do… and he’s only 12.
His older brother is very much like many of us were…he has no idea. His life has been Taekwando, golf, and gaming.
A few weeks ago though, the older brother who is starting his first year in high school, told his mother that it was time for him to get some direction and decide what he was going to do with his life. (Thank goodness!)
We will see what happens for both of them.
In our lives, we travel many paths. At junctures in the road, we must make decisions…go forward, right, left, turn around, or do nothing.
Where we go, if we go at all is on us. If you’re waiting for someone to tell you what choice to make or what you need to do next…word of advice. It’s a lot easier to live with a choice you’ve made rather than one that was made for you.
I had to decide what I was going to do, and what
I was going to be.
I was standing there, waiting for someone to do something, till I realized the person I was waiting for was myself.
