Some days are just perfect for showing houses to prospective buyers.

For the past two days I have had the pleasure of working with out of town buyers. I spent time with two couples who were drawn to the Hudson Valley for several reasons the main one being the close proximity to New York and Albany.

Both days were perfect to show homes. The temperature was about 80 degrees with little to no humidity. The sky was blue and the Hudson River, as always, was magnificent- the Valley in it's splender.

This is the kind of day when  I, sell myself on the area in which I live. Riding from home to home it was a pleasure to enjoy the views of the river in Highland and the mountain in New Paltz. This is why I love what I do and why I love where I live. Each season has it's own beauty, which I enjoy.

I thought how important it is as a Realtor to really love your area to be able to convey the benefits of living there. In the spirit of full disclosure I did have to tell both couples that we do have weather in the Hudson Valley- Not everyday is as perfect as today.

You're so right.  I missed the rivers, mountains and seasons so much when I lived in Florida.  West Palm Beach had its own beauty with the beach, the palm trees, and no snow!!!  But it doesn't even compare to our Hudson Valley.
