It's a bit of a catch-22. With the low rental inventory, investors see an opportunity. And, with investors being so active, it keeps the price on the already low inventory of homes strong.

With prices starting to plateau a little, and buyers not moving so fast it will be interesting to see how these buyers act, buying for cash certainly helps them move quickly, but it will be interesting to see if they can still keep selling just as quickly.

Brian I have seen a lot of cash buyers, but not many of them were investors. So I was surprised to hear that there are parts of the country that investors are busy scooping up properties.
