Located about 2 miles southeast of the neighborhood, Don Juan Avila Middle School can be reached in about 5 minutes by car via Wood Canyon Drive and Pacific Park Drive. In the meantime, Oak Grove Elementary School is only about 1.3 miles south of Carmel and can be reached in about 4 minutes via Sanborn.
