Everyone does need a home! Your quote from Maya Angelou  says it all!

That is a really nice collage and it is true that everyone needs a home, wherever that may be.

Very true Kathy Streib regarding needing a home. A home meets two and potentially four of the five Maslow's hierarchy of needs and allows for the fifth need to be met.

Kathy, love your post, and love knowing that someone else doesn't own it!  

We should all be so lucky to have such a sanctuary away from the hectic world.  A place where we are safe and comfortable.

Yes! Every living creature needs a home... their sanctuary at the end of the day or whenever they need respite.

A lot of animals in Florida will also be in rebuilding mode of their "home".

Kathy no matter the size or shape our homes are our castles.

Home is where the heart is Kathy!  Yesterday we had a surprise dust and rain storm and all the birds made a mad dash for their little homes.  Safe and secure from the storm.  It was crazy!  I stopped to pick something up before going home and got the storm alert on my phone.  I looked out and stuff was blowing all over the place.  I left right away and took the more secluded streets home as to avoid all the blowing things.  I was ever so happy to drive into the garage and be home! Safe and secure.

I get far more pleasure from finding the perfect home for a client and the warm feeling it creates than just a pay check Kathy 🙂

Good morning Kathy - this is so true.  Like Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz, There's no place like home.

Every one of my four homes (and even our first home which was an apartment) served our needs perfectly. We have wonderful memories from each of them and are very happy making memories in our current home.

I immediately thought of Hurricane Ian when you mentioned the wetlands.  I just hope that many of those birds could find a "home."
