El Tapatio for Fun Family Dining in Greater Sacramento

One of my favorite places in Greater Sacramento for family gathering is El Tapatio in the community of Citrus Heights.

Last evening, my daughter, Jill's birthday gave reason for us to find way there once again.

Good food, live meandering guitars, and each other's company made it all really special. And, OH, the take home boxes!🙂

I have heard good things about that restaurant and would love to try it, but it is a bit of a drive for us.  I am glad you all had a fun time and happy birthday to Jill!

After the wild few weeks where I have went through surgery and have endured road reconstruction, Jill's birthday was the perfect time to take a deep breath and celebrate.  And, this morning, I woke to the glorious sight of having my street finally becoming paved.

It's a delicious autumn day here in Sacramento.  Temp is currently at 70 degrees.

Ray Henson - Yes, it would probably be about a half hour's drive for you.  But, sometime you should try it.  I think you would be richly rewarded.

Carol Williams - When I go there I always order the 3 selection combination plate that comes with rice and beans.  The reason is, the difference in price from adding each selection is only $2.00 difference.  That way, I have lunch packed up for the next day.  I like the Beef Taco, Chicken Enchilada, and especially the Chile Relleno.

Michael Jacobs - "The continuation of the celebration". . .I love that way of looking at it!
