Your Financial Check-Up
Does thinking about finances stress you out at this time of year and have you dwelling on things like income, goals you had, and where your business is at?
As you start thinking about how you are going to close-out your business final quarter of the year, don't focus on your income. If you need a financial check-in, then what you really need may be to take a success check-in instead. Think about all the things you have done this year that have been successful: all the clients that you have helped, how many lives you have changed, how many people you have made a difference to. Real estate is a profession where we have the opportunity to meet a lot of people have a big impact on their lives. Start with being grateful for that and recognize what you have accomplished.
If you do need to look at the money side of your business, again don't just focus on income. Instead, start with your expenses. Go back the last three months and start to learn what your habits have been the past quarter and consider how you can make adjustments. Because at the end of the day, it's not just about what you make, but about what you get to take home.
However, if you are looking at your financial status and thinking to yourself, "I want this to be different," or, "I don't know if I'm on track to meet my life goals," or, "I need to start working on retirement," then I suggest you also take a look at my upcoming workshop that I will be hosting in Palm Springs this year, Prosperity Strategy, November 9,10, and 11th.
