Buenavante was built between Scottsdale and Hayden Roads on the west and east and between Sweetwater and Cactus on the north and south. The wonderful Cactus Park with basketball, city swimming pools and activity classes, picnic areas is on the west side of Buenavante.

Buenavante was one of the last non HOA neighborhood built in the 1980s with larger homes, generally in the 2,500 to 4,000 sf range. Lot sizes are generally 1/4 acre and up. Buenavante tends to be surrounded on all sides by larger custom homes on 1 acre that are generally priced in the approaching and $1+ million range. Prices in Buenavante are generally lower than those homes. Buenavante fits the description of buying a less expensive home in a more expensive area yet the homes are nice and custom and semi custom on larger lots when compared to many tract neighborhoods like McDowell Mountain Ranch built on smaller lots that were built later.
