Here in Lake Havasu City, we love any excuse to play outdoors. When you add a bit of gambling into the mix, it makes things really interesting. In the spring, we have the Desert Storm Poker Run. In September, the Monster Storm Poker Run. But if you still want more, let me guide you to a little thing called the Havasu Side x Side Poker Run. Still in it's infancy, this poker run may give the bigger events a run for their money soon.

Havasu Side x Side Poker Run 2022

The DHPFFA hosts its 4th annual Side x Side Poker Run on Saturday, November 5th, 2022. Start off with a pancake breakfast fundraiser at the fire station from 7 am to 10:30 am. Then, head over to Anderson Toyota for the race. One of the stops in this year's poker run is the infamous Bunker Bar located out in the desert. (If you know, you know!) The best hand of the night receives $1000.

Ticket Info

Each $100 ticket gets your side-by-side entry into the run plus one hand of poker. For an additional $10 each, get yourself another poker hand (and another shot at the $1000 grand prize). Raffle tickets cost $5 each. And if you want to attend the dinner, it costs you $20 per person. The deadline to purchase your poker run tickets is November 4th. So buy yours today!

Halloween in Havasu

A quick reminder. The 17th annual Main Street Fright Night event is scheduled for Monday, October 31st. Looking for a safe alternative to going door-to-door this year? Take the kids to McCulloch Blvd N for a great time trick-or-treating at the downtown businesses. The event lasts from 4 pm to 8 pm and includes some fun activities along the way as well as goodies for the kids. Dress up. Bring your own bag to haul your treats away. And just have fun.
