Fallbrook Farms Thornton
Colorado
Location and General Info:
The Fallbrook Farms
Community is located off 144th Avenue between York Street and Colorado
Boulevard. Fallbrook Farms provides easy access to the Denver, Broomfield, and
Boulder employment centers along I-25 and Highway 36. This new Fallbrook
Farms neighborhood features over 32 acres of parks, open space and trails. The
community is conveniently located near major highways, shopping including the
regional Flat Irons Mall, The Orchard, Larkridge, and the Thornton Rec.
Center. Children will attend the highly sought after Adams 12 5-Star
School District with the elementary and middle school within walking distance.
In addition, a future light rail development within the Fallbrook Farms
Community will allow for convenient trips to downtown Denver.
Fallbrook Farms Homes are from Beazer, Meritage and Ryland. The Fallbrook
Farms Neightborhoods are made up of Single family homes and Patio style homes.
Recent developments:
Beazer
Homes:
Recently, Beazer homes has announced their exit from the
Colorado Marketplace. At this time we are not sure exactly what will
happen to the lots that Beazer had available to build at
Fallbrook.
Light Rail:
With the costs of Diesel Fuel having
increased dramatically over the last two years, the Metro rail authority is
reviewing its decision to use Diesel powered trains and instead may opt for
Electric powered for the north light rail line that is supposed to run right by
Fallbrook Farms. In our opinion this is a big plus for the community and
Diesel does not increase the nearby home values.
The Orchard Town
Center:
The Orchard Town Center at 144th and I-25 is coming along
nicely. Rock Bottom Brewery, Woodlands Grill, Happy Sumo Restaurant, and
the Mexico Cantina Y Cochina are now open. We were at the Rock Bottom last
Saturday early evening before doing a little shopping at Macy's and the overall
atmosphere is like a mini Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. Very
cool!
