We are still unpacking from our move over 2 years ago. Last week Henry uncovered the Carmen Sandiego puzzle he had done with his kids 20 or so years ago. As he was putting it together, he kept commenting on different things to do in each state.

I was amazed when the puzzle came together, and Lake Keowee was on the map for our corner of South Carolina, but then so was Jesse Jackson. Our corner of the world is unique as you can be in 3 states in about 30 minutes, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

Of course, Carmen Sandiego was not in our corner of South Carolina but it was fun to see all the places to see in each state and I have added a few to our future travels.

Hello Gwen - I am far too old to have had a close relationship with Carmen Sandiego but I do remember her influence as she spread the importance of geographic knowledge. That remains important. I bet finding that puzzle brought back many memories.

We watched it with the grandkids, all re-runs but it was so good to see the various places and things to do. They are better at history and geography because of that show.
