Months ago I wrote a post about accidently putting Crazy Glue in one of eyes. Much to my surprise the eye doctor says it actually happens pretty often. In my case I had a Crazy Glue bottle (not a tube) next to my eye drops and I just grabbed the wrong bottle. I am pretty sure Timmothy got his inspiration for the comic strip above from that incident.
I completely recovered from that episode and I learned some valuable lessons: 1) Don't buy Crazy Glue in a bottle. 2) don't keep any crazy glue near your eye medications. 3) There is little I can do without my vision... I'm sure I would learn but it would take a while.
Hopefully all of us see our vision improve from experience. I have been here in the Rain long enough to know that almost everyone here has had eye opening experiences. Experiences like that Buyer that you showed your listings to comes by with another agent making an offer on one of your listing (Yes, you were new and did not have them sign anything because they would never work with anyone but you). New agents, like we were X number of years ago, can walk right into a brick wall because "that thing isn't going to happen to me".
The best thing we can do is "Live & Learn" and keep our eyes open in the future.
