Do you have a favorite pie for Thanksgiving dinner? Is it the same as the favorite pie in your state? Google shared a list with USA TODAY of uniquely searched pies in each state.
As you can see from the list below, pumpkin pie seems to be the overall favorite in 13 states. However, apple pie is not far behind with 11 states showing it as a favorite. Some interesting surprises in several states: chess pie in North Carolina and Tennessee; key lime pie in Utah; French silk pie in Illinois; lemon meringue in Colorado; chocolate mousse pie in New Mexico.
And with all the pecans grown in Texas, New Mexico and Georgia, why wouldn't pecan pie show up as a favorite Thanksgiving Day pie?
