Homes For Sale In Herriman Utah:
There are over 421 homes and condominiums listed for sale as of 7/01/08.
Of those properties, only 26 are condominiums.
Three hundred ninety five are single family homes.
So far this year, 387 listings of homes/condos have been sold in Herriman.
Distressed properties, IE: HUD HOMES, Bank Owned, Foreclosures, Short Sales, and homes that require a third party approval of any Real Estate contract. There are 79 distressed properties in Herriman.
The 79 Bank Owned, Short Sale listings in the most of any SLC suburb.
Real Estate Listing Activity- Last 30 Days:
Over the last 30 days Salt Lake Realtors have new listings of 113 homes and condominiums. in Herriman. Thirty three single family homes were put under contract by SLC Realtors; VS. 91 in Sandy UT.
In June of 08, 900 homes were sold in the Salt Lake area; 40 in Herriman.
For whatever reason 81 houses were pulled from the market. While it is difficult to know the real reason a home owner would pull a listing, some of the reasons could include foreclosure, no activity, change of circumstance, refinance. South Jordan, and Sandy City led the way with 134, and 139 respectively.
HUD Homes, Bank Owned Homes, And Short Sales- Last 30 Days
In June, 19 distressed homes and condos were put on the market.
South Jordan contributed the most with 20, followed by Herriman , with 19.
Eight Bank Owned and Short Sales were sold and closed over the last 30 days in Herriman.
Three HUD Homes, REOs, Short Sales or foreclosures were placed under contract in Herriman in June. For comparison, So. Jordan led the way with 12 listings placed under contract.
The 15 properties that were pulled from the market in June, can be partially explained by the fact that selling the property is only one of many remedies being attempted to eliminate the problem. The problems can include remedies other than sale. If that happens, the home would be pulled but not count . EXAMPLE: If short sales are unsuccessful the house generally goes to foreclosure.
