Assessment of Week 11

 

Last week my picks went 0-2-1, and I saw some rare bad line movement. I got the Eagles at a pretty bad line, and they failed to cover, just barely winning against the Colts. The Vikings got absolutely destroyed without Christian Darrisaw, and their offensive line was in disarray the entire game. The Bears game pushed as I had them +3 and they lost 27-24. This week, we’re back to finding the best value on the board and making some winning picks.

 

Ravens -4 vs. Jaguars (-110)

 

Say what you want about the Ravens playing in too many close games, but these two teams are not comparable. Lamar Jackson has been great this year with an 81.2 PFF grade (9th among quarterbacks), and he’s working behind the best offensive line he’s had since his MVP season. The Jaguars defense has a few decent pieces, but as a unit they have plenty of holes. They don’t have a player capable of guarding Mark Andrews, so I think the Ravens put up plenty of points.

 

 

 

This Past Thursday TURKEY DAY, we went 3-0 thank God for the Bills comeback.

Haha how fun!  I only follow the UTSA Roadrunners, my alma matter.  We were 17 points favorite against UTEP but they hit us hard blocking our QB Frank Harris, probably the top 3 QB in college ball today. They played it like it was a CUSA conference game because we are the CUSA #1 and undefeated in our conference, still. We came back from a 24:0 in the fist half. We pulled out with 34:31 even with some very bad refs! They didn't call one facemask agaisn't. They called a few penalties like personal foul for 15 yards giving UTEP a field goal (there was some roughing but UTEP started it, shown on the big screen. ) But we beat it all. We play UNT Mean Green Friday for CUSA Championship as a home game. We barely beat th em earlier this year on their turf . It will be an incredible game!  Good luck to you today!!
