Motivational Monday…You’ll Need This

 

Is there something you want to tackle that you’ve been dragging your feet on? Maybe it’s going back to school or opening your own brokerage firm. 

 

Recently I was speaking with a young friend who was debating about going to graduate school. They’d been working for a few years after receiving their degree but felt a Master’s degree would help further their career.

 

 

“What’s your hesitation?” I asked.  As you might suspect, they were concerned about juggling a full-time job and family life with going to school. It was going to take 2 years and they would have to make some sacrifices.

And then I asked..."Do you believe you can do this?"

 

All of us can make a long list in the Con column of why we can’t or shouldn’t try something…Time, Cost, Ability, etc. But there’s one thing we need in our  Pro column besides Time, Skills, and Ability and that is Belief…in ourselves and what we want to do. 

 

 

So…what are you ready to do this week??

Good morning Kathy. Sometimes what you can accomplish does not fit with what a significant other thinks. And, sometime times you have to move on! It is a matter of choice that is not the same for everyone. Enjoy your day.

Good morning Kathy,

Love that quote because it is so true! I had such a busy week-end, listing appointments, showing property, having friends over to decorate my tree (I jammed my arm and was hard to reach up). Its getting better but really wanted to get all my Christmas decorations up inside and out. Its Monday morning, had John and family for dinner last night and its all up! It can happen ..You have to believe you can do it and then get it done!

Having coffee and creating that positive attitude are the two things I do to start my day. My positive attitude kicks into gear as I see the sunrise.
