I have watched many people post sunset photo's to a blog so I thought I would offer a sunset at the beach just south of Gold Beach at Pistol River in Curry County Oregon. Beauty!     I think the west coast side of Vancouver Island (Long Beach, Chesterman's Beach) between Uclulet & Tofino would be like this scene -- we're lucky to view these vistas!

That is beautiful - thanks for that too!  Do you know there are many groups here dedicated to photography - you can post it there.  I suggest you join lots of groups and put each post into 5 groups for max exposure.  good luck in the rain.
