Marketing Your Lemonade Stand OnlineThe SEO Diva is featuring a few new articles that you may find helpful in your search marketing efforts.

Keyword Research for the Lazy features an inexpensive and super-easy to use tool I came across that utilizes Google Trends.

Marketing Your Lemonade Stand Online borrows from a children's guide on lemonade stand marketing. The same principles apply to online marketing.

Best of the Web (BOTW) Discount Code for July 2008 is just that - a 20% discount off all their directories and services. Be sure to check out their BOTW Local and add your business profile page to their site.

Thanks for the links, Kay.  I wasn't sure what your post was about from the title but because I know who you are I clicked it and I'm glad I did!

Kay-Thanks for the information.  Does Wordtracker have a free service that lets you see how frequently a few keywords are searched.  I thought I came across that through another site, but now I can't find it??

@Matt - yes, it's at http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ and I just discovered you can use the GTrends tool with it also.

Hi Kay- thank's for the link.  Doesn't that just give you suggestions, not # of times the term(s) was searched though?  I tried it out and think that's what it's telling me.  To be specific, I'm trying to find out if "south jersey" is a better term to have in my domain name than "moorestown."  The first is the region I live in and the second is the town.  I'm trying to figure out which would yield better SEO Juice...I think. I really have no clue:-)  Sorry to takeover the comment field and thanks so much for the above link:-)

@Matt - it does give # of daily searches, as well as competing pages. You may need to go into your settings and toggle which options you want. There's a tutorial on the website that explains (somewhat) how to use the tool. Hint: a quick look suggests "moorestown" is better ;)
