This Christmas, Try to Understand "Others" in Your Life

Points well taken …. My niece’s husband becomes depressed at Christmas and I keep reminding everyone to allow him to be this way!

Christmas is a special season for the way people open up their hearts but can also be a tough season for those that are alone or have recently lost special people. That's where we need to be aware and welcome others into our festivities, if only with a call or a batch of cookies

We need to be extra thoughtful and sensitive to others now during the holidays and better yet all year long.

That's right, count your blessings every day!  We are so fortunate to live in the USA!

Hi jeff- we often forget that as much as we may enjoy the holidays, there are others who may be suffering. Some may have lost loved ones during this time of year, so celebrating is hard...some may be having financial difficulties, and then there is the classic trying to meet what expectations we and others may have of the holiday season. 

Loved your Christmas Meme - Group Therapy ... so true.  We don't know what other's are going through at this time of the year or any other for that matter.  We need to be sensitive to others and keep our heart and ears open to clues of how we can bring positivity to their lives. Sometimes it's just a kind word or jesture that makes all the difference.

 Hi Jeff - there is always a reason to remain positive.  I have to comfort someone anxious for a cancer scan.  I can't blow that off but I have to support.
