What to Expect at Cary's 4th of July Celebration!

The Booth Amphitheatre is a beautiful natural setting and the North Carolina Symphony will be performing all your favorite patriotic musical numbers. In addition, our very own Cary Town Band will be performing as well. Musical selections scheduled to be performed include:

• Servicemen on Parade
• The Star Spangled Banner
• American Salute
• Pops Hoedown
• Fairest of the Fair March
• Selections from Oklahoma!
• The Thunderer March
• Fanfare for Freedom
• The Cowboys Overture
• Duke Ellington Fantasy
• The Girl I Left Behind from Irish Suite
• Star-Spangled Spectacular: The Music of George M. Cohan
• Battle Hymn of the Republic
  

Celebration Hours:

• 3pm - Gates Open
• 4pm - Indy Model Boat Regatta on Symphony Lake
• 3pm - 7pm - Family Fun Zone (games and prizes for kids)
• 3pm - 8pm - Booth Amphitheatre ticket discounts on select upcoming events at Booth Amphitheatre. Stop by the Box Office to check out the Independence Day Savings!
• 5:30pm - Ice Cream Eating Contest presented by Lumpy's Ice Cream (you can even win a prize!)
• 5:45pm - Performance by the Cary Town Band
• 7:30pm - Performance by the North Carolina Symphony and Assistant Conductor, Joan Landry
• Fireworks to follow concert Free Performance, no tickets required.

To make your 4th of July holiday celebration more enjoyable, here is a list of items allowed: Blankets, Lawn Chairs, Small umbrellas, Cameras, Coolers, Food and Beverages.
