Flower Mound Wildlife Management, Fun & Jokes

When it comes to Wildlife Management, the Town of Flower Mound does an excellent job. Not far away from the heart of Flower Mound is a wildlife management rescue site that may be of interest to you. Moving can be fun and exciting if you know the climate, landscape, and what you can expect. The animals I encountered were curious and friendly.

Just for Fun

The Coast Is Clear - I've Got My Ears On This one

Flower Mound is home to one of many Wildlife Animal Rescue Management sites across Texas. If you are relocating to Flower Mound and you want more than just a residential property there are opportunities. Owning agricultural or Timberland means you have assets, liabilities, and tax benefits. If you are looking for options other than only residential property, agricultural or timberlands makes caring for your property easier and keeps your tax benefits too! Because Flower Mound is a smaller community in comparison to Dallas or Fort Worth, you don't have to drive or travel far to see wildlife.

Whether you choose residential, ranch, farm, agricultural, or timberland, there are other wildlife that may co-exists with humans depending on neighborhoods, trails, and parks. This includes:

  • Raccoon
  • Opossum
  • Skunk
  • Coyotes
  • Bobcats
  • Snakes
  • Foxes
  • Armadillos
  • Deer

ARE YOU CURIOUS ABOUT LLAMAS & ALPACAS?

Alpacas come in black, brown, light yellow and white. Their fleece is used for production. Alpacas are smaller than llamas. Llamas are a bigger cousin with banana- size ears and elongated faces. Alpaca faces are smaller, blunt faces, short ears. Llama? Alpaca? Both are curious about humans too!

SUNDAY MORNING JOKES

What do you get when you cross a turtle and a llama? A turtleneck sweater

What do you call a secret group of llamas? The i-llama-nati

What do llamas call the end of time? Llamageddon

What is llamas favorite film? Llamadeus

Who is the llamas spiritual leader? The Dalai Llama

What did the llama say when he got kicked off the farm? Alpaca my bags

NATURAL HABITANT & ANIMAL SERVICES

Flower Mound is a natural habitat for wildlife and that is one of the many reasons why people choose to call Flower Mound home. Educational Materials are available to learn more from the Town of Flower Mound where utilities are paid in person, direct deposit, or by mail. The Animal Services Division responds quickly to calls. If necessary, traps are available, however, the goal is to try to save wildlife. Flower Mound is a wonderful place to live, love, and learn.

Hello Patricia, This is a place that I would like to visit but not the snakes.  Almost got bit by a rattle snake one time since then not a snake fan.  Make it a great day!

Will Hamm - There are many benefits to having snakes in a community. Snakes eat rats and mice. Having snakes in your yard means you live in a healthy environment. Harmless snakes they say eat a lot, including venomous snakes. They are a healthy predator in Texas.

I'm sure your experience was scary but it is a good thing you were not bitten.

Morning Patricia, thank you for this story. I loved the way the quotes took the animal perspectives. It reminded me of going to my first state fair as a child and seeing so many new real animals. Clearly Flower Mound Cares!

Haha, llama jokes! And wildlife information for the Flower Mound area... we don't have armadillos but the rest of the animals you mention can be found here as well. Such an interesting world we live in!
