It has been a pleasure reading all of the informative entries into the month's ActiveRain Challenge, A Guide for Blogging Success, hosted by Jeff Dowler, CRS and Brian England. It has been a real learning experience for me and I would definitely recommend to anyone considering blogging for the first time in 2023 to read as many of the entries as possible. As a mentor and sponsor of agents at eXp Realty, I have been surprised at how many talented agents have been interested in blogging, but just do not do it.
My recommendation is to just get started. Too many times, we worry about blogging correctly. There are so many different authors on ActiveRain and they all have success in one way or another. Some blog using short, simple and informative posts while others write longer, more complex posts. Some post about the beauty of their local areas and others post in depth local area statistics. Some focus on local events and some post about everything. It all seems to work from my point of view. Blogging allows us to reflect who we are and that is invaluable. There are all kinds of clients and each client needs a real estate agent that fits their style. When we blog, it helps them pick the right agent.
I have had the pleasure of meeting with numerous ActiveRain Bloggers recently, Brian England, Jeff Dowler, CRS, Diana Dahlberg, Anna Banana Kruchten Phoenix Broker and Jan Green - Scottsdale, AZ. They each have a distinctive style and they all have been very successful. I have learned something from each one, as well as, the rest of our ActiveRain family. If you have been contemplating creating your own blog, just get started. It took me way too long to start and it was a big mistake. Your blogs do not have to be perfect. Your writing will evolve. You will develop your own style and you will find plenty of fans. You will also find that you make lots of friends across the country.
Thank you to Jeff Dowler and Brian England for hosting this month's challenge.
Thank you to Jan Green, Diana Dahlberg and Anna Krutchen for welcoming me to Arizona and for inviting me to your Christmas Celebration lunch. It was a pleasure to meet you all.
To my ActiveRain family, thank you for your friendship and
HAPPY NEW YEAR ! ! !
