Tonight was my second time enjoying our community pool's adult swim.  They start at 8pm and run until 10pm on Wednesday nighs.  The water is warm from the sun heating it up all day, and dusk is a quiet time of day in the neighborhood.

I snapped this shot before the handful of swimmers took to their lanes and started a peaceful night's swim.  Amazingly, tonight I was the last one to leave.  I think the "life guard social" going on in the pool was annoying to some.  To me, it sounded like I was watching Knocked Up, or some other clueless, yet entertaining band of young men.

I've never been a serious swimmer, but I actually bought a pair of goggles for the pool.   Think I'll keep up on this adult swim. Wish it were more than once a week.

Chris, sounds like a great time, and probably great for people watching as well.

Duane:  I can assure you, there is nothing pretty about my swimming abilities or myself in a swimsuit.  I've reached the age where I don't care anymore.  :)

Chris, LOL, let me be the judge of that one.... JK. Just fun getting out I'll bet.

Chris Ann, I do swimming several times a week at my fitness center, doing the laps. I need to get the goggles like you have so I don't get the chlorine in my eyes. The evening is a great time to swim in the summer.

Chris Ann:  I am sure your swimming abilities really do not matter... because,,, with you being so adorable... nobody is really watching for your degree of proficiency.  :)

Hi, Chris - This DOES sound like fun!  We don't have access to a pool any more, but this post has me smelling the chlorine!  (That's a good thing!)

Chris Ann...

Swimming is great excersise, and if you are enjoying yourself, it's all the better. As for the lifeguards...well..they're kids, what can you say?

Gary:  I feel like a complete dork with the goggles (I keep wanting to type googles), but they do a great job of keeping your eyes irritant free.

Karen Anne:  I just love it when you stop by my blog.  You've never even spoken to me, and yet, you think I'm adorable.  Stop by anytime.  :)

Maragaret:  I bet if you went to a builder in your area and promised to bring some buyers to look at their new homes, they'd probably give you a guest pass at the community pool  Regency out here in Dominion Valley is shameless about that kind of stuff.  Free golf, free tennis, free pool.  Work your connections and get some relaxtion.  :)

Richard:  I'm sure I was once as annoying as those lifegurads, though they really weren't that bad.  They made me giggle a time or two,  But they did also make me move lanes when the pool started to empty.  I didn't like the splashing.
