Caulk Wood | Bonding for Success

It's been so quiet on the Makeover2Takeover blog I thought I should do something about it!

PHEW! The home stretch is here for the Contest! It's been so wonderful learning so much to implement for my business in big ways! I'm was so blessed that Missy said yes when I asked her if she would consider being my mentor :)

It has not been an easy task to work into my schedule, that was already busy. It seems like Missy in Ann Arbor Michigan and myself in Chester County, PA have both picked up in business in the past few weeks - and it's been wonderful!!! But we've found ourselves not being able to be connected as much as we were in the beginning of the contest.

I've had to say "no" or "not yet" to a few things that have been presented to me to take more of my time. The contest is my focus right now, aside from the ongoing Real Estate. I'm still learning, but trying to say "no" until we are finished.

This week's assignment is to Market a Listing. I have a listing that I can use right now. We completed an assignment on Systems a couple of weeks ago, much of our marketing will come by following our System for Listings.

Listings need exposure to many different places, you never know where someone is looking that will stumble upon it and say, "Ooooh, I like this one".

So, get ready for our submissions. We have some extra time since July 4th is this week. Look for our posts rolling in before Sunday!

Kim, Missy, wow. What a contest this has been. Each week Lissa and I said, well, this looks easy enough. Talk about stretching OUR limits. It may have been easy for others but us? Well, no way. We are feeling so lucky to be in this final round with pros such as yourselves and we wish you the very best of show and we hope to see you at Inman! good luck and hang in there...\

Deb, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto!  It has been quite the contest! No resting for the weary :)  There hasn't been a week that we could just "throw" something together - it's been a work of a few days - and I'm so happy with the results each week. Then I see the others.... :O We are in top competition here. No easy walking, that's for sure!!!

ooooh I hope to see you at Inman too!!! I'm waiting to make reservations until we find out :O I hope I'm there!!!!

Congrats to you and Melissa as well!!!! (I'd love to meet y'all!)

Good luck with the contest!  I can't begin to imagine getting all you have been done in a week, much less week after week of challenges!  You two gals are amazing.  :)

Kim, I can SO identify! I just don't have time to consider some non-essential business opportunities right now. Yet I'm LOVING this contest. It's a superb opportunity to rub shoulders with the best (like you). Like Deb, I want to wish you and all the other entrants best of luck this week, including me. We're all winners at this point. The business system tools we have created and continue to create will serve us well over the coming months and years.

Kim, this has been one the greatest events I have been involved with. I love the way it was broken down into growing our business and the technology. That is what is needed in this market...both.

Talk to you soon !

I think it's natural that the posts have died down, with fewer people left in the contest to post updates each week.  But yours have been great, from the beginning, and I enjoy following your progress.  I expect to see you and Brian's team in the finals...

Kim-Ditto on your ditto, lol. We have all certainly "stretched" our minds and skills, haven't we?  While it has been SO frustrating at times, it has been SO much fun, hasn't it?

I have computer skills I would have never acquired without this competition. I would have always put it off until tomorrow.  Yikes, can't do that here, can we?  Best of luck this week...What will we all do with ourselves after this is over?
