January 2023 Marketing Challenge!

Anna Banana Kruchten, Phoenix Broker, and Aura Alex are co-hosts for this contest and are asking for our most effective marketing tips and practices that have led to success in the real estate business. Being a big believer in marketing, this is fun.

 

 There are many ways to market, brand, and advertise. It is our job to let the folks know we are in real estate! It is not their job to remember!

Half the advertising does not work, but do we know which half? 

There are so many ways of marketing. Check out other marketing

 Consistency is my marketing secret, including my weekly advertising, blogging, and radio show. 

 Since I build my listing inventory at the end of the year, I have been having an excellent  December and January. But I need to be careful not to run out of inventory.

To remain in the Real Estate business, you need to be consistent year-round with a  steady flow of homes to buy or to sell.

Even though mainly a listing agent, there are times when clients want me to find them a unique home. No door knocking, no cold calling, but there are other ways, like advertising for buyers on my blog, radio show, print media, and website. 

Each week I run this type of marketing piece.

It has my listings, recent sales, too-late under contract, and a list of homes I have ready buyers.

Print advertising, word of mouth, radio shows, blogging, face-to-face networking, repeat clients, unique business cards, and a catchy logo like 'Sell Your Home With Margaret Rome' does not happen overnight.

 Advertising is for future business, not  "right now" business.

It is our job to remind them we are in business. It is not their job to remember.

Perhaps someone could design a "memory business card" to help buyers remember us? LOL!

Tracking our marketing efforts so that we know where our business is coming from is very important.  I always ask people where they found me and why they decided to choose me.  When some people started saying that they liked my smile, I knew that I had to put my face on my sign, haha.

Margaret one BIG mistake many sales people make is to stop doing what they were doing to make them busy, when they get busy.  We need to be consistent whether or not we are slow or busy.
