Just an hour down the road and you can be hiking through the Blue Ridge Mountains, or head south and be at the beach within a few hours. Locals really like getting day hikes in over at Paris Mountain State Park. Trails there go from easy to difficult, making it a great spot for anyone to get out and experience nature any day of the week.

 

One of the many things you will love about Greenville is the parks and recreation planning that has been done. Just recently the city welcomed the opening of Unity Park near downtown. Unity Park features a family friendly atmosphere where everyone can enjoy great food, a one of a kind playground that kiddos go crazy for, and the Swamp Rabbit Trail runs right through the park. Biking the trail is a local fave because you can ride right up to the restaurants, park your bike and have a bite.
