I wish someone would explain to me why people leave their christmas lights up all year around. I just don't understand it. I travel through bad neighborhoods and very nice neighborhood and there they are still hanging. It is that they are celebrating all year around (I don't ever see them on) or are they just flat lazy. If you know please advise.

I've got one word for you to explain why homeowners (or renters) would leave their Christmas lights up all year.... Incidently, it's the same reason why many real estate agents cannot make a decent living. The trait they all have in common??? They are LAZY. That doesn't surprise me, but what I can't figure out.... where did they get the initiative to put up the lights in the first place???
