On January 12, 2023, Realtor.com reported that nationwide median list price of a home was $400,000 in December of 2022, gained 8.4% from $369,000 median list price of a home in December of 2021.
There were 689,685 listed inventory of homes in December of 2022, jumped 54.7% or 244,000 more homes from 445,685 homes listed in the market in December of 2021; while new listed homes dropped 21.0% in December of 2022, from December of 2021.
Houses stayed 67 days in the market in December of 2022, rose 11 days or 19.0% from 56 days in December of 2021.
