Breaking News: The East Baton Rouge Parish Bond money is now available!!

If you are considering buying REAL ESTATE IN BATON ROUGE LOUISIANA now there is yet another incentive. The East Baton Rouge Mortgage Finance Authority(EBRMFA) recently released the first bond issue of 2007. The advantages of this program are:

5.875% INTEREST RATE FOR A 30 YEAR FHA LOAN OR 6.0% INTEREST RATE FOR A 30 YEAR CONVENTIONAL LOAN
4% OF SALES PRICE IN DOWN-PAYMENT ASSISTANCE!

Unlike issues in the past you DO NOT have to be first time home-buyer to take advantage of the bond loans. The income and housing limits are much higher this time also. Below are the qualifications:

Income Limits

1-2 Person Households- $67,440

3-4 Persons Households- $78,680

House Price Limits

FHA- $201,650

Conventional- $289,704

You must buy a home in East Baton Rouge parish and the funds are limited so TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!!!.

We have a similar program in Connecticut. It is a great opportunity for those that qualify and often overlooked. Good job getting the word out!

When is bond money going to be released again? I'm number 51 on the waiting list and trying to close on July 22, 2008. My lender says there isn't any funds now, and doesn't know when they will be out. Can anyone explain?
