You all probably already know this, but I just wanted to share with my fellow rainers that any (and I mean any) question you may have about Active Rain or real estate or whatever can be found with just a click of the mouse.

Go to the "search" button...click on it...type in the topic that you have a question about...and, voila - the Answer!

It's great!  I have learned so much doing this, and it's so EASY!

I know...It took me long enough...  :)

I always tell the "newbies" that this is a great place to figure the business out.  You can also just type a blog with a question and get some input pretty quickly as well.

Since I have gotten active I have even noticed rainers picking up the phone and calling me, it is a great place to hang out!

Debi, I have used the search button to find people, but not topics.  Good suggestion.

Debi - It took me a while to use search but it is AWESOME!  A great resource!

I've tried this a few times now and it works like a charm.  I like using it to research topics that I'd like to know more about.

This is an awesome resource. I tried it and just like you, the answers popped right up. Now I know.

Robert - That's great.  I hesitate to sound too knowledgeable, but I am slowly figuring things out.  :)

Brian - Same here...  I used to think "search" was only to find people.  :)

Leesa - I agree.  Thanks for stopping by!  :)

Hope - Exactly.  It is such a great resource!  :)

LOL...  Sort of the first thing I do anymore is head for the search button.  It is always great when it works and actually finds what I need!

Hi Debi: AR's search function works pretty well. Better than some sites I've been to. When I went looking for the story you mentioned about the robbery in St. Paul, I went to the Star Tribune's site and put in the search terms and nothing came up. I had to try four or five different times before I found the story. That can be frustrating.

Debbie..

Thanks for the heads up, believe it or not I have over 50 posts and did not know about this feature.

Methinks there is alot I don't know.

Thanks again.

Hi Debi...One of the great resources we have on the Rain.  Sometimes I don't think of it in time and instead write a post asking for help.  But, I think that might be OK too as some others don't seem to use search and are glad to see the questions raised.

Thanks for reminding us that tend to forget and alerting others that have not used the Search option yet.

Just keep learning and sharing.

Thanks,

Kathleen

Kathleen - I've written a post in the past asking for help, and others were glad that I asked the question...Either way, our questions get answered...  :)

Debi... I have used the *search* button a few times, and it has never let me down.  Thanks for reminding me.

Valerie - You're welcome.  It's nice to know that help is only a click away...  :)

I've not had good look with the search field.  I guess I'm doing it wrong.  I was checking to see if there was a group about health and didn't find anything.

Barbara - Maybe that means there aren't any groups about health...Maybe you should start one...Just a thought...  :)
