Throwback Thursday: the good old days!

Good morning, Endre... it's interesting how animals establish their pecking order in a household... even though my cat Oliver came last to the household my dogs Gracie and Max totally knew who was in charge (and it wasn't them). Now my Mr. Marlow is totally in charge and Bingo knows it. 

Hello Endre - as Kat Palmiotti commented throwback moments can be a mixture of emotions.  Hopefully you are remembering more of the happier ones.  

Thank you for sharing the photo Endre Barath, Jr. Pets love windows. We only have one good window for our dog Baby to look out and she uses it regularly.

Kat Palmiotti hit this right on the head.  My last kitty passed in 2015 and we have not adopted another family member.  But all the memories and emotions flood me at once when I see a pic. 

Hello Endre,  We have three ferrel cats that someone drop off about 12 years ago.  We caught them and had them fix and be still feed them.  We lost Blacky this year but will have two

Endre I get those notifications as well, and they always bring back great memories.

Oh my gosh, Endre Barath, Jr., I know you and Diane are missing the heck out of sweet Jack. It's sad but, intriguing to watch the changing of the guard. I feel your broken hearts - been there and still broken hearted over our loss of Charlotte and Duke.

Ugh - it just stinks that they can't die with us and escort us to the Pearly Gates, isn't it?

Love getting these flash backs from years before with photos that pop up. The changing of the guard is always fun to see. I love the idea you bring a pet into the fold after one has left..a wonderful way to honor you past pets!

Where does time go, Endre?  But fortunate to have our precious photos and videos to look back on.  I feel sad for homes destroyed in fires, storms, floods, tornados,  hurricanes, etc.  When I look at the aftermath and destruction, my thoughts first go to peronal life/lives lost, then to financial losses, personal loss and right around here I feel a sadness as I think:  They probably lost their treasured photos and tapes.  And so many times, these can not be replaced.  Loved your photos, Endre.

aww your cats are all adorable! But I have a special soft spot for white cats with orange spots.. too cute
