Saturday's Shots - Reflections of a Beautiful Sky

Oftentimes, the sun setting over the water doesn't reveal the deeper, more intriguing colors & 'design' if you will, until about 5 minutes after the sun has actually moved behind the treeline.

Ray and I have this 'routine' of him calling to check on me if he knows I'm out of appointments or have left the office. He wants to remind me what time we'll be seeing the sunset - AND, if he thinks we're going to have a good one that evening!

I'll admit to not stopping to pick up dry cleaning or making any other stops, if I'm barely going to make it home for the sunset. I put that off for the next morning. All I have to do is scroll through my phone and I know I've made the right decision on many occasions! When the sunset reflects the colors in the sky, in the water, it's pure magic to me!
