Look at all the cabbage lovers!!  I love cabbage too and would love to try Will Hamm cabbage rolls!  My favorite is cabbage with bratwurst onions, green peppers simmered  in beer or ginger beer till done.... so good!!

You are correct.  March 17th is National Corned Beef and Cabbage Day, Doug Dawes.  There is more than one "cabbage celebration".

Your recipe sounds similar to Deepak's recipe, Debra Leisek.  I don't think I have ever had ginger with cabbage.  Maybe I need to try it.
