Bill, thanks for such an exhaustive list. I used to do lots of property inspections for Clear Capital and they are solid. I have to issue a warning about Coast to Coast, however. If you check them out, you will see that they have a poor BBB rating. My advice to anyone doing BPO's or Property Inspections / Service work is to check the company out with the BBB and do a Google search on the companies name to see if there is any dirt on them. Had I done this, it would have saved me lots of hassles and headaches.
I totally understand, however I would trust that as a professional courtesy to the other AR members you would delete any firm known to take advantage of real estate professionals. I guess I feel a bit vindicated as I tried to go to their site and it isn't coming up so maybe they've gone out of the business of ripping off real estate professionals.
