 Happy 4th of July!

July fourth marks the day on which the Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress in 1776. The first official Independence Day Celebration was held four days later, on July 8, in Philadelphia, where the document was formally adopted.

Today we celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecues, picnics, and family gatherings, fun and fireworks.

There is also a misconception that all the founding fathers were there to sign the declaration together, it was signed over an extenede period of time, with a lot of sneaking around
