Barnstable Village parade , 9:30 a.m., begins at County Complex on Railroad Avenue, proceeds down Main Street (Route 6A); left onto Mill Way and continues to Village Hollow, where it will end for various activities. Presentation of Mercy Otis Warren Cape Cod Woman of the Year Award at 8:30 a.m. on grounds of Superior Courthouse. Sponsor: Barnstable-West Barnstable Fourth of July Parade Committee.

Bourne on the Fourth of July Parade , 10 a.m., Main Street, Buzzards Bay. 508-564-6345.

Chatham parade , 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. This year's theme: "200th Year Anniversary of the Chatham Lighthouse." Parade travels down Main Street from the corner of Shore Road to Veterans' Field where there will be post parade activities. Sponsored by the Chatham Cultural Council and Chatham Chamber of Commerce. 508-945-5199 ext. 9.

Centerville parade , 10 a.m., starts at Centerville Elementary School, and proceeds up Bay Lane, right onto Bumps River Road, left onto Park Avenue, right onto Main Street, continues to Centerville Recreation Building, where it will end for field events. Sponsor: Centerville Civic Association.

Cotuit Fourth of July parade , 11 a.m., starts at post office and proceeds down School Street to Main street; left on Main Street to rear entrance of Cotuit Elementary School. Sponsor: Cotuit Civic Association.

Falmouth fireworks , 9 p.m., Falmouth Heights Beach; viewable from several area points throughout Falmouth. Rain date: Saturday. 508-548-8500.

Fourth of July Bike and Carriage Parade , 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Main Street , Falmouth . Children and families dress in their best creative Uncle Sam costumes and parade Main Street with decorative bikes and carriages. Starts from Bank of America (Fleet Bank) parking lot across from Village Green, proceeds to Peg Noonan Park at 11 a.m. 508-548-9888.

Fourth of July Falmouth-Edgartown Ferry Cruise , 6 to 9 p.m. Falmouth-Edgartown Ferry Service, 278 Scranton Ave., Falmouth. Celebrate onboard the Sandpiper. $25 for adults, $15 for children and free for children under 5. No rain date. Event fills up fast. Reservations and information: 508-548-9400.

 "Seven Villages - One All-American City" parade , 4 p.m., Hyannis , begins on and proceeds down Old Colony Road, left on Main Street, left on Sea Street, left on South Street, ends at town hall parking lot. Public parking on North Street and at Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Memorial Skating Rink. Parking ban 2-6:30 p.m. on Main Street; South Street closed; Old Colony Road and Ocean Street from South Street to Main Street closed starting at 3 p.m. Presented by town of Barnstable Fourth of July Parade Committee.

Hyannisport parade , 11 a.m., starts at post office on Longwood Avenue, turns left onto Washington Avenue, right on Lafayette Avenue, left on Winchester Avenue, left on Scudder Avenue to Dale Avenue, ends at West Beach Club. Road race precedes parade at 9 a.m. at post office. Sponsor: Hyannisport Civic Association & West Beach Club.

Orleans Fourth of July Parade , 10 a.m., starts at Eldredge Park Way and goes along Route 6A, turns right on Main Street and right on Route 28, ending at Nauset Middle School. This year's theme is "Our Town by the Sea." Rain or shine.

Osterville parade , 11 a.m., begins on Webster Street, turns right on Sea View Avenue, turns right to end on Warren Street. Sponsor: Wianno Club.

Provincetown fireworks , 9 p.m., shot from barge in Provincetown Harbor, near MacMillan Pier.

Provincetown parade , 11 a.m., from Snail Road/6A to Coast Guard Station along Commercial Street. Concert by the Marlborough Ancient Junior Fife & Drum Corps, 4:30 p.m. in front of Town Hall, 260 Commercial St.

Sandwich parade , 9 a.m., assemble at Wing School, 33 Water St., front parking lot. Exit the lot, turning left onto Beale Avenue, turn right onto Water Street, right onto Main Street, right onto Beale Avenue, then left onto Morse Road, ending past the tennis courts. Presented by the Sandwich Citizens Police Academy Alumni. 508-539-0478.

Town of Sandwich events : 8:30 a.m. three-mile road race, 11 a.m. field events, 1 p.m. muster events, 7 p.m. band concert on Shawme Pond, 9 p.m. Rowboat Parade on Shawme Pond. 508-888-4361, www.sandwichmass.org.

Wellfleet parade , 9:30 a.m. This year's theme, suggested by Wellfleet Elementary School students: "Dress Like Food, Particularly Wellfleet Food." Participants in Classic Car Parade assemble at 8:30 a.m. at Mayo Beach, across from the Bookstore Restaurant. Dash plaques awarded to first 50 cars. Regular parade assembles at pier parking lot at 10 a.m. 508-349-2510.

Saturday July 5:

Town of Barnstable fireworks , dusk (approximate time 9 p.m.), shot off barge in Lewis Bay, Hyannis. Best viewing at Aselton Park, Bismore Park and Veterans Park Beach. Parking ban in effect south of South Street (Ocean Street, Old Colony Road and Kalmus Beach) 5 p.m.-midnight. Parking available in North Street parking lots and town hall parking lot. Handicapped parking available at Cape Cod Maritime Museum on South Street. Tow zones strictly enforced. Carpooling suggested. Rain date: Sunday (notification will be made to all radio stations and other media upon cancellation). Tune in to WCIB Cool 102 (101.9 FM) for a fireworks musical simulcast.

Concert by Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra and Cape Cod Conservatory Jazz Band , 5:30 to 9:45 p.m. Aselton Park, Hyannis . The jazz band will perform from 5 to 6:30 p.m., with the Cape Cod Conservatory Chorale joining in for a finale. The orchestra will start to play at 7:30 p.m. and continue to play while the fireworks are set off over Barnstable Harbor starting at dusk. 508-862-4956.

12th Annual Salt Marsh Lane Fourth of July Parade in Pocasset lines up at 12:30 p.m. for photos at St. Johns Church, 15 Virginia Road, Pocasset, and travels down Barlows Landing Road to Salt Marsh Lane. Theme is "Bourne in the USA." Floats, bicycles, carriages and more, plus representation from fire and police departments. Organized by residents of Salt Marsh Lane.

The times are all listed in todays Cape Cod Times, it also included info for both Natucket and Martha's Vinyard if your interested..I chose not to include it to keep the info more local.  Have a nice 4th celebration.
